Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last term of junior high. There are two of her siblings: one of whom is older, named Gregory and a younger one known as Evan. When she was between the ages of 9 and 16 Her first introduction to the business world was when she started modeling. She began her training in acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she studied the acting skills of Sanford Meisner together with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock received similar training, along with Michael Douglas and Jeff Goldblum. Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton are among those actors who've received this type of training. When she moved from Los Angeles, she got her first lead role in Beverly Hills, 90210. Her first role was in Johnny Mnemonic. She did all of the stunts in the film and made her an accomplished athlete and as well as an actress. Her agent for talent was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
