Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were finished within the first five minutes. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout against Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in the third round of a TKO. Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in a "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy through TKO. Her final fight with Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. The debut of Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina with a combination of ground and pound. She won the TKO round later in the second. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first major match. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision, and the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC in ESPN 7. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in an majority decision.
